Volunteer
Help us help even more families in need
Volunteers are the heart of Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central and Northern Arizona. By helping us provide comfort and support to families at our Houses through sharing of their time and talents, our volunteers bring life into our walls. We have a variety of opportunities and schedules available. We invite you to join our volunteer family!
Dinnertime Heroes
One of the best ways to support the families staying at the House is by becoming a Dinnertime Hero by preparing dinner at one of our three Valley Houses. At the end of long days of medical appointments, having a home-cooked meal alleviates stress from our guest families while wrapping them in love and care.
Individual House Volunteers
Volunteers play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the Ronald McDonald House. They provide administrative support, help keep our House clean and tidy, offer family support and greet families with welcoming smiles and listening ears. Some of the duties that our volunteers help with are:
- Cleaning, sorting, organizing
- Answering phones
- Greeting families and visitors
- Gardening
Individual volunteers must be at least 16 years old to become a House volunteer. If interested, please contact our Volunteer Manager Jen Donnelly at jdonnelly@rmhccnaz.org.
Event Volunteers
Our chapter two signature fundraising events each year — the Heart of the House Island Party in October and the FORE the House Golf Tournament in April. Volunteers are needed to help with setup, registration and other event related tasks. For more information, please contact our Volunteer Manager Jen Donnelly at jdonnelly@rmhccnaz.org.
