The holiday season is a time of joy, love, and giving. It’s a time to come together as a community and extend a helping hand to those in need. This holiday season, there are numerous opportunities for you to make a positive impact in the lives of families facing medical crises at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona. Here are 5 ways to share your joy with families this holiday:
- Contribute to the Holiday Gift Drive
Our Holiday Gift Drive gives families the opportunity to “shop” for gifts for each other as part of our Santa’s Workshop. Each gift comes from donations made by our community of champions like YOU! Help make this year’s Workshop a magical affair! Shop our Amazon Wish List or purchase an item from our Holiday Wish List. - Prepare a Meal
Fill the bellies and hearts of the families staying at the House this holiday season by preparing a meal at one of our three Valley locations. Whether it’s a Saturday meal as part of our Brunch Buddies program, or an evening opportunity as a Dinnertime Hero, your home-cooked recipes will help relieve stress for families at the House. - Give the Gift of Togetherness with a Tax-Deductible Donation
When you make a year-end contribution to RMHCCNAZ of up to $421 per individual or $841 per couple, you benefit from a dollar-for-dollar Arizona Charitable Tax Credit AND you provide a “home-away-from-home” for many families during a time when they need it most. Donate now. - Buy a Southern Living Cookbook at Dillard’s
‘Tis the season to spice up your recipes! Now thru December 24th, scoop up your copy of the festive 2023 Southern Living Cookbook for $15 at all Valley Dillard’s locations, with proceeds benefiting our mission of providing a “home-away-from-home.” Purchase yours for $15 in stores or online at dillards.com. - Become a Holiday Baker
Nothing says home for the holidays quite like holiday baking. Whip up some special treats to help families feel at home, even when they can’t be, by becoming a Holiday Baker. This opportunity can be done at either Roanoke or Dobson Houses. To sign up, email Volunteer Manager Jen Donnelly.
No matter how much time or resources you have, there’s a chance for you to make our three Valley Houses shine bright this year. Use the button below to learn more about these program and even more opportunities to give back.
